Herb's simple spaghetti sauceIngredients:
Chop scallions, onion and bell pepper. Heat a small amount of olive oil in pan. Add vegetables and season with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Saute until onions are translucent or slightly charred. Pour sauce into pot and add seasonings. I rinse the sauce cans out with a bit of water, but be careful not to water the sauce too much. I've used half a can, but that's even a bit much. Add sauted vegetables and heat until warmed throughout.
Makes enough for 12-16oz of spaghetti.
